I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, with a flawless omelet station and delicious coffee. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, and the pool attendants were professional. The hotel provided clean and fresh pool towels.
During my stay, I encountered a small inconvenience with the room temperature being a bit warm. However, when I mentioned it to the staff, they promptly provided a fan.

This is the second time I stay at the Riviera hotel, and my experience has again been very satisfactory. The room was confortable and clean, and the staff extremely helpful. I forgot my laptop adapter after checking out, and when I came back a few hours later they had set it appart inside a sealed envelope.
Only a bottle of mineral water is included as complimentary beverage in the room, and breakfast is not covered by the standard room rate.

Slightly outdated but well-maintained room with a large bathtub, strategic location with nice neighborhood to explore, convenient personal or public transportation, wonderful view overlooking the bridge with a glimpse of the river, cozy and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.

Spacious and clean room, firm bed mattress, safe big enough for my notebook computer, lan cable internet, big tv, etc. Fitness club with swimming pool, golf range and sauna is a bit outdated but has a nice workout atmosphere and plenty of equipment and space. Hotel is in the Gangnam business and quality shopping district. Main tourist and nightlife attractions are quite a bit away, but underground connection is ok and taxis are very cheap. Some 200 metres away is the Ellui hotel club, which some regard as the finest (house and techno music) club in Seoul.
WiFi in the room in the iPad age would be nice.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with a bus stop right next to it and an underground station nearby. It is also away from the more touristy area near City Hall. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds and large plasma TVs. The bathrooms are also modern and clean, with large marble showers. The service is friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a fitness center with a great lap pool and new equipment.
The food at the hotel's restaurants is highly overpriced. The buffet breakfast costs an additional $20 and the prices for dishes like mushroom soup and salmon are not worth the quality.
